I gotta feeling- Media vidio

Planning

First we had to get in a group of people we wanted to work with. in my group is me, emma and ella.



we were given a brief to do a video on either Guilsborough school or teenages. We chose teenages, so I wrote down on a spider diagram of all the things we could think of to do with teenages in and out of school.






Then we grouped the words we wrote down into three groups. these groups were In school, out of school and both.














After that we thought about what sounds we could put into our film. we came up with the idea of putting a song in the background while they were doing the partying. the song we chose was I've got a feeling by black eye paes. we hose this because it was up beat and the lyrics went really well with the partying.












From this we then came up with the idea of a teenager in a classic, boring, class room situation daydreaming and thinking about getting ready to go out partying with her friends.











we then wrote down a vage idea of what would happen in each scene by putting together all our thoughts.
















we then expanded on this by making a story bored showing key pictures, what angles we are going to use and also what type of shot. we each put different ideas into it to create a really well thought out video plan.


what i added to this was coming up with the idea of the actors running out the class room and shutting the door behind them. on this door would be a sign saying i gotta feeling and at the same time the music would say i gotta feeling.

Another thing i thought of was what shots to incorperate in order to make each scene look really effective. an example of this is on the i gotta feeling sign i said we should zoom in to a close up to put emphasis on the sign

Filming
We all did the filming together. the bits of the filming that i did was the was the tracking shot of the actors running through the school. i also did quite alot of the filming at the house such as the high angle shot of Tamara taking a shot, also i did the tracking zoom of all the actors running out of the house. Also i did the shot where lauren jumped on tamara.
overall we all worked together really well putting an input into each shot of weather it was at the right angle, shot or distance. we made alot of extra film to so that we could choose the best bits to put in the final film. we ended up shooting 35minutes worth of film at the end of it.
Evaluation
I think that we had appealed to our target audience well because we chose a very up to date song and this is good because it shows that our documentry is modern and there for more apealing to teenages to watch. another thing that we did was pick an interesting theme that lots of teenagers like to do. as our theme was based around teenages getting drunk while getting ready for a night out i think that more teenages would be enspired to watch it because it shows a comical factor as well as the reality to what teenages get up to out side of school.
from doing this i have been able to develop my media skills and become more aware of how to use different shots in different situations in order to make it look effective. this is good because then when i go on to do the real thing i will be able to identify what shots i need to use in order to put across my message in what i am filming well. another skill that i have been able to develop is my editing skills. now i know how to use ivideo and the effects on it to further inproove my film. finally i have learnt how to use a video camera. this is good because now i can do a steady shot and a tracking shot and a zoom with out it being all wobbley and jumpy.
this film demonstrates how a teenage social group has fun in there sprear time. i think that this film puts across a good message about teenages prooving that they like to have fun but they can do it in a fun way that isnt damaging the enviroment or desterbing other people. aslo the video shows the reality about teenages and how they generally live for the weekend. this is damonstrated by the teenagers getting bored in the lesson and thinking about what they are going tio be doing that night.
over all i think that the filming of the video went well and we managed to achieve every thing that we wanted to achieve by doing it.
